About our club:

The FRRL is a club for radio amateurs offering knowledge sharing, fun, events, education, and license testing.

Our meetings include a short business meeting and a program of special interest to amateur radio operators.

We also have several "nets" on our repeaters

Upcoming Events:

VE Testing: September 17th, 2026 at 6:00 PM

The FRRL, in conjunction with the ARRL VEC, sponsors regular amateur examinations. Ad-hoc sessions are planned during major events and will be added to the schedule.

Pre-registration is requested but not required, walk ins are welcome!

Board Meeting: September 1st, 2026 at 7:00 PM

Board meetings are regularly scheduled for the first Tuesday of the month. 

Membership Meeting: September 8th, 2026 at 7:30 PM 

Regular membership meetings are held the second Tuesday of the month.

We will give a best effort to have a Zoom call to broadcast the meeting for those that are unable to attend live. Link will be sent prior to the meeting.

ARRL Field Day: June 26th-27th, 2027

The FRRL will be conducting our annual ARRL Field Day event. On the 4th weekend in June, over 40,000 hams in North America set up temporary transmitting stations in public places to demonstrate amateur radio. Whether you are a seasoned operator, newly licensed, or just curious about Amateur Radio come out to our Field Day site and operate.

Please help Pass The Bill. The Amateur Radio Emergency Preparedness Act helps to secure the passage of federal legislation that would grant Amateur Radio Operators the same rights to install antennas on their property as those enjoyed by users of TV antennas, wireless internet, and flagpoles.
